From December 12th to December 24th, the tandem Forcioli & Gallardo presents the project "STUDIO ELEMENTS" in Senlis,
a set of about fifteen photographs on the universe of endangered recording studios. We immerse ourselves in their meticulously scenographed space from this atmosphere to the rich and glorious past, as we immerse ourselves in the middle of the medieval alleys and Gallo-Roman vestiges in Senlis of the richness and exceptional past of the city.
From the world of handicrafts and image music, the idea is emerging very quickly between the two to merge their experiences by creating unique objects: Forcioli's artistic expression and Gallardo's intellect of the hand have led to the creation of electric guitars in limited series and to series of themed photos like for "STUDIO ELEMENTS".
The main concern here is to make the passage of time feel, the urgency to show a past era, where rough textures, noble materials and light or cold lights of Parisian recording sites oppose our antiseptic, clean, social distancing and d - immediate.
"STUDIO ELEMENTS", 1era exhibition by Xavier Forcioli and David Gallardo since their meeting in 2010, constitutes a biography in images of a finite epoch.
