Data collected and its use
Forms store your name, email, phone number if provided, message and, for a stay, dates, guest count and requested accommodation. Records may also contain correspondence and payment status. Required fields enable us to process your request. Preparing and managing a stay relies on pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract; other enquiries and website security rely on our legitimate interests. Technical connection data, including IP addresses, may be processed to operate and protect the service.
Access and service providers
Records are accessible to authorised staff and maintenance providers. The website and database are hosted by Fly.io in Paris; administration uses two-factor authentication. Resend delivers follow-up emails. If you receive a Stripe link, Stripe processes the information needed for payment; Fab House does not store your card number. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their contractual terms and transfer safeguards are available here: Fly.io · Resend · Stripe.
Cookies, analytics and map
Your language choice may be saved for one year. Administration cookies secure login. If you choose “Stay signed in for 30 days”, your session is kept for 30 days and renewed when you use the administration area. Otherwise, the cookie is temporary and the session expires after no more than 24 hours. Signing out ends the session. Google Analytics is optional: when enabled on the website, it loads only after you accept. Privacy choices and analytics cookies last up to 180 days; you can change your choice through “Privacy preferences” in the footer. Our analytics events do not send your name, email, phone, message, stay dates or booking reference. The OpenStreetMap map loads only at your request and then receives necessary connection data, including your IP address.
Retention and deletion
Record retention depends on handling the enquiry, following up the stay, accounting obligations and possible disputes. The application does not automatically delete requests, messages or client profiles: the property manages deletion manually according to these needs. Deleting a profile does not automatically remove necessary information from a linked booking. Copies may remain in backups and with providers under their own retention periods. You may ask us about the criteria applying to your record and request deletion.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to certain processing and request portability where applicable. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time. Write to contact@fabhouse.fr; you may also complain to the CNIL.
