After the great success of summer performances 2019, the riders of the Compagnie équestre des Grandes Écuries offer a new revised version of this show-event ! Humor and high school dressage will be at the meeting to narrate 300 equestrian history years.
The Great Ecuries are not ordinary. They are exceptional, erected alone, outside the castle walls.
Created by Jean Aubert at the request of Louis-Henri de Bourbon, seventh prince of Condé, grandson of Louis XIV. When an elder creates Versailles, the magnificence of these stables imagined by a grandson may not be so surprising!
For more than an hour, the major stages of the life of the big stables will be traced through about fifteen equestrian numbers. Horses, donkeys and ponies will bring the story back to spectators through various paintings, combining narratives and equestrian figures that make the fame of the Great Ecuries: high school, work in freedom, cambers, lying down, reverences... The Equestrian Company of the Grandes Écuries du Domaine de Chantilly and the Voltigeur Clément Ferron will transmit their vision and adaptation of the 300 last years of this emblematic building of French heritage.
