The Gilbert Du fois gallery is very happy to present for the first time a personal exhibition by NINA, entitled "Making Body".
NINA, an artist-sculptor, chose ceramics, chamotted faience, for his art creations both personal and universal. From the earth is born the sphere, infinite and planetary, of this volume the drawing. The sleek spherical shapes, made entirely by the artist's hand, become delicate and precious objects shaped, polished, engraved and painted with oxides before cooking.
NINA's inspiration lies in a quest for infinity, perpetual movement, with a female figurative expression. The minimalism of colours, which it incorporates to bring relief to human figs and decorations designed by a mastered trait, confreres with works an amazing strength, highlighting the artist's skill.
The artist develops a language, grammar, singular writing, his own mythology where individuals alone or in duet invite us to enter the round.
